New Advice Centre for Asylum Seekers and Refugees

In February 2005, Integrationshaus participated in the call for tender organised by the Vienna Social Fund for support and care services in the framework of basic welfare support and won.

As of July 2005, the new advice centre with a staff of eleven counsellors is located in:

Advice Centre for Asylum Seekers and Refugees
1200 Vienna, Klosterneuburgerstr. 23 – 27 (Corner Webergasse), 1st Floor
Tel: 01/ 33 44 592/ext.

Counselling hours:

It is important to know that the advice centre is not open to all refugees. Persons from other regions are attended by other counselling facilities.

The staff is equipped with a vast amount of qualifications in various counselling areas (asylum procedures, labour market, psychological support, women- and youth-specific advice, accommodation) and speaks Arabic, Farsi, Dari, Russian, French, Bosnian, Serb-Croatian, Turkish, Kurd, English, Swahili as well as other African languages.
